We are all born with a sin nature. Because of our sin, we are unable to have a relationship with God without forgiveness.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23 NLT

We can’t earn God’s forgiveness – it must be given. Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice so that we could be forgiven.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8 NLT

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 NLT

We must accept this free gift from God by committing our lives and heart to Jesus.

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 NLT

The Bible is God’s instruction manual for how to follow Him. Jesus said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4. God’s Word is a source of life and it is packed full of amazing promises God has for your life.

God never intended for us to be on this journey alone so he created the church, which is a community of people that gather together to grow in their relationship with God. Find a church that values the presence of God, encourages you to grow in your relationship with God and people, helps you discover your gifts, and is focused on reaching more people with the life-giving message of Jesus.

Water baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
